Administering Azure Storage

The training held at Microtech LLC focused on Administering Azure Storage, helping participants understand how to effectively manage and optimize storage solutions within Microsoft Azure. Attendees learned how to configure, secure, and maintain different types of Azure storage accounts, such as Blob, File, Queue, and Table storage, while ensuring high availability and data protection.

As a mentor, I provided participants with an overview of Azure Storage services, including how to implement storage security best practices, manage access using Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and set up disaster recovery solutions. We explored various storage management tasks, such as configuring data replication, monitoring storage performance, and optimizing costs through tiered storage and lifecycle management.

This training was highly beneficial for participants, as it deepened their understanding of Azure Storage management and helped them develop the skills to implement robust storage solutions for their organization’s needs. By the end of the session, participants were equipped with practical experience in configuring and managing Azure Storage resources, enhancing their ability to maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient storage environments.
